Alisa Bloom has been fascinated with drawing shapes and creating patterns since childhood. Her work has been greatly influenced by Bauhaus modernist art and mid-century Scandinavian design.
After graduating with a degree in applied mathematics and design theory, Alisa chose to follow her true passion as a fine artist and then began her illustrator career. She has specialized in visual design and illustration for products and publications.
Alisa has participated in the Wharton School’s Creation of Artifacts in Society program and has been teaching visual arts classes. She is also an aspiring author and is working on a new children’s book series. Alisa is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
Alisa lives with her family in the beautiful Bay Area of San Francisco.
